Tsuchiya Kinosaki Onsen Hotel - Toyooka (Hyogo)

The hosts provided really good service, even personally driving us to the station. It would have been nice to have a shower in the room for convenience, as you need to use the public onsen to shower.

I had really great days staying at this good basic hotel. I got clean room with an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV. Great location to everything Kinosaki-onsen has to offer made it easy to get to key attractions.

The staff were cute and even surprised me with a framed photo wearing the yukata! The decor was clean and modern. Loved every moment!

The location is good, to the station on the day we checked out. The twin room overlooks city and includes an electric kettle and fridges.

i loved the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. there was a spacious bathroom with hair dryers, a bidet and bath sheets. the folks were affable and exceptionally friendly. the service was good, totally satisfied. location: the hotel was very close to mandara-yu, kono-yu and goshono-yu onsen, and shops. ate at sumibikushiyaki fuji, it's relatively near the venue.

The lack of shower facilities in the room is a major inconvenience!!! Walking to the public onsen every time to rinse off can become a hassle, especially after a long day. The surrounding noise levels could improve, as the quiet retreat feel can be disrupted!!!

The location is fantastic, just a 60-second walk to two onsens, and within a five-minute walk to most other attractions. We loved the beautiful room that perfectly blended traditional and modern styles. The hosts provided really good service and were eager to help with anything we needed.

Cute hosts offered really good service, ensuring every detail was so nice. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious choices like fresh herbal tea and traditional delicacies. The setting is tranquil, away from the hustle of the public onsens, but a short walk from them. While the absence of an in-room shower was an inconvenience, the beautifully designed spaces made up for it. The vibrant atmosphere created by both the hosts and the cozy decor added a special warmth to the experience.

I loved soaking in the onsite private onsen and sipping on the fresh herbal tea they served. The traditional breakfast was such a treat, and finding a quiet spot on the sun terrace to unwind was perfect! It’s a bit of a trek to the main street, but taking a stroll after the onsen was nice. 😊

This place is great, and has everything I need, like free wi-fi, a coffee shop, and luggage storage. On my first stay, the staff helped me with bug spray, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend it! I'm coming back for a business trip.

enjoyable stay, but some improvements needed

The warm welcome from the hotel owner and his wife, complete with a self. Our room was cozy, clean, and even featured a good hanging chair on the balcony with a lovely city view. Enjoying a matcha latte from the café downstairs added a perfect touch to our morning.

The location was decent, but it was slightly noisy at times.

The stay in this onsen town was delightful and comfortable, with the location being a positive, despite being a bit secluded from the train station.
